Vancouver, British Columbia
Vancouver is Canada's third largest city and the largest city in British Columbia, Canada's most western province. Vancouver is superbly situated on the Burrard Inlet (Vancouver Harbor) with a backdrop of forested slopes and snow-capped peaks. Spanning the harbor is Lion's Gate suspension bridge. The mild climate, exquisite natural scenery, and relaxed, outdoor lifestyle make Vancouver a lovely place to visit. Canada is an independent federally governed nation within the framework of the British Commonwealth. English and French are both official languages although the British influence is most notable in British Columbia.
